Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
